“Today I Discovered” is an ongoing project here at the Songbird Nest, to see what our product can do for us as regular people looking to discover great new music too! Each week a member of our musically diverse staff will share something new they discovered through Songbird.me.

Let me start by saying I’m a huge fan of the LA label Brainfeeder and just about every artist on it. In addition, I’m a big vinyl nerd, especially special editions or limited releases. Recently I got wind of an upcoming vinyl release for two of my favorite Brainfeeder artists, Flying Lotus and The Gaslamp Killer. Both of these awesome vinyl editions of their new albums, are only available for pre-order through their respective sites, something I managed to be unaware of until the announcements recently appeared in my Songbird feed.
