Portable Songbird 1.2!

By stevel stevel Permalink

Everybody give some props to the gang over at PortableApps.com… cause they just released Portable Songbird 1.2!  These guys have been hammering away with development and beta builds of portable Songbird for a while now, and have just done the final release of 1.2 today.  If you’re looking for a way to load up a USB flash drive with Songbird and some tunes to bring with you to whatever Windows machine you’re on (ahem, I’m looking at you college computer lab and corporate enterprise users), then look no further.  Go grab a copy of Portable Songbird 1.2 and start getting your tunage on.

    Excellent news…

Now I will be able to install both Songbird, its database and all my music on my external hard drive… then plug it on any PC and find everything again: music, playlists, ratings, extensions….

Loading up an USB flash disk with Songbird and bringing with them Windows are great ideas.
