Everybody give some props to the gang over at PortableApps.com… cause they just released Portable Songbird 1.2! These guys have been hammering away with development and beta builds of portable Songbird for a while now, and have just done the final release of 1.2 today. If you’re looking for a way to load up a USB flash drive with Songbird and some tunes to bring with you to whatever Windows machine you’re on (ahem, I’m looking at you college computer lab and corporate enterprise users), then look no further. Go grab a copy of Portable Songbird 1.2 and start getting your tunage on.

SubscribeThanks for posting this steve!! I’m glad to be able to contribute in some way
Thanks for your assistance on this, too, stevel. And to all of POTI for making Songbird so great. This just went on Digg, too:

It’s not 1.3 :’(
w00t!
Aaaaaawww, I thought it was 1.3….
Nice, Keep working !
Excellent news…
Now I will be able to install both Songbird, its database and all my music on my external hard drive… then plug it on any PC and find everything again: music, playlists, ratings, extensions….
Someone needs to give that bird some Wind-Eze…
exactly what i needed!!!
Awsome!
If there are zero bugs left in 1.3 as there as been for like a week then why isn’t songbird 1.3 being released
@Ben Burger, @Geekshadow
Because it’s not done yet.
@Ben Burger: check the last birdbath, you’ll find out why!
@klint
Ah thanks I didn’t read the bird bath before you mentioned it
Instalei em um pendrive em um a pastas quando copiei para outro drive em outra pasta ele criou pastas de profile no caminho da instalação.
Loading up an USB flash disk with Songbird and bringing with them Windows are great ideas.
