Weekly Birdbath

By Laura Laura Permalink

We’ve all had our nose to the grindstone lately so I thought a Friday fun day Birdbath was in order.

Simon posted his eagerly anticipated alpha version of the searcher add-on based on the ideas posted in the Awesome Library Bar!  topic in Get Satisfaction yesterday. He’s calling for testing and feedback so lets give him a hand. Besides looking like the beginnings of a very handy add-on, it’s also a pretty stellar example of how well our community can work together from concept to creation and in a truly speedy fashion.

Thanks to Lenny we have a new way of deciding what’s for lunch. We were thinking we should just blow this up and throw darts at it every Thursday morning to make our decision easier. We do need to photoshop it to add in my personal fave, Vietnamese Sammies, which we had yesterday.

What's for Lunch?

If you can throw a dart after the 6th martini and not kill anyone, I think you’d probably deserve another drink

    Where’s 1.3?

The survey didn’t really apply to me YET. I do plan on syncing my mp3 player I get one that is worth syncing too. I want to get a mp3 player with 8gb+ and playlist that are ON the player and do NOT require a computer in order to use playlist.

syncing with RCA is so not worth it.

    secondly,
It would be really really cool if it were easier to Fave the radio station you are currently listening too, as the link at shoutcast for Szene radio, does NOT work within songbird. I get 0mbs, when I tried form before. Maybe, an auto button that automatically plugs in the data of only the radio station you are listening too at the moment when you click on said button?
Thanks a million for Songbird! Its saved me, as shoutcast doesn’t work very well within FF in Ubuntu. :D

Oops! The form I used was the heart inside of songbird. I copied the link from shoutcast on FF. Just thought I’d clarify. lol
