Kreeger, the baby of our dev flock, turned 25 on Monday. As founder of the “Man’s Game” and “Cowboy Up” movements we rely on heavily during release times we honored him in many a manly way.
In true man fashion, we had dessert first.
Then we had the Man Meat Taco Challenge at which Kreeger dominated. The goal is to polish off 10 tacos and 6 Coronas. Checkout the results scoreboard below.
Neither beer nor taco requirements were met by any individual, but there were some impressive showings none the less. Looks like some taco training is in order for the next challenge.
We’ve all felt the pain of the less than stellar search capabilities in Get Satisfaction as well as the inability to find certain ideas or topics we know are there. They’re working hard on improving it, but in the meantime we’ve come up with some pretty clever workarounds for finding what we need. Michael brought up the idea of tagging ideas with a users name so we can find topics by user and Tim requested I bring back my purple unicorn tag to identify topics that might otherwise be overlooked. Happy unicorn hunting!
Oh and for those of you whose Thursday just isn’t complete without knowing what kind of birdseed was at the aviary, we had Mediterranean food for lunch today. Shwarma of the beef, lamb and chicken varieties were all available, as were falafel and dolmas. Ali’s not a fan of the garlic smell permeating the fridge so if you’re hungry come grab the leftovers.

Kreeger had 10 tacos on his plate, but ended up leaving the last soldier on the field; he said “If I ate that last one, I would’ve done something that would’ve taken my taco score back down to 0.”

So apparently “unicorn” is a wildcard when it comes to GS search? …three of those topics dont even have unicorn in them..
And not only that – it fails to display THE purple unicorn in question… how does that happen?
