Isan is proving to be a little reluctant about leaving the nest but we are working towards having a beta build out next week. In the meantime, the equalizer and automatic organization have both been merged into the Songbird 1.2 branch builds so feel free to take them out for a test flight.
In Bird-Build land, Preed has been working hard (with help from SteveL and Tyler, our Intrepid Technology (IT) Dude) to bring the Buildbot status pages back.

We had to take them down for good [technical] reasons (related to Buildbot’s architecture and some required network changes), but it’s a change all of us cringed as we made it. Great idea seeks talented developer and presto, a sweet new media view is born! Designed by JohnM and conceived by Murphy in this Get Satisfaction thread, this add-on is already getting some community love. It’s pretty cool to see community conceived ideas turn into reality so quickly.

Why is Isan so reluctant to leave the nest? It seems like from Tracker that it’s in good shape.
so disapointed.. i had seen the original schedule which stated the final build would be out today and had held off on switching over to songbird until this happened.. I had no idea this was only a beta milestone..

@ forest: Clipped wings…aka QA can be quite the perfectionists and we gave Preed a whole bottle of scotch last week which sorta slows him down.

I’m still trying to file in a bug without succeeding….product:SongBird, component: Devices, OS: x86 XP….what’s wrong there?
