I’m really happy to see apps like this being made. I’m hopeful that the Songbird team or someone will create a similar app for Android. I have an iTunes remote on Android (on the G1), but I don’t use iTunes, I use Songbird!

Snikch, you also have to understand that this app isn’t made by Songbird and it takes the developer a considerable amount of time to work on it. It is free right now, but even a small amount wouldn’t be too much to ask.

Free for a limited time? It’s the lack of features like this which force people to continue using iTunes. The remote app on iPhone is my most useful app outside the normal phone functions.

Not having this feature available for songbird, or available with a bad implementation and a fee would stop me from going anywhere near it.
