New Metadata APIs

— sbIMetadataJobManager.idl +++ sbIFileMetadataService.idl Last night’s build includes an all new faster, smaller, thread-safe(r) implementation of the metadata component. It hasn’t been broken in yet, so please give it a try and report any problems. If you are a developer and use sbIMetadataJobManager or sbIMetadataJob, you’ll need to update to the new sbIFileMetadataService.

Scheduled Downtime for Add-ons and Translate Sites Today

Update @ 4:10pm: we’re back online! We’re making some scheduled changes to the Songbird Add-ons and Translate sites today. We expect the sites to be down for an hour at most. The plan is to take them offline at approximately 3:30pm (2230h, UTC-8: view in your timezone) and be back online by 4:30 pm.
