The final version of 0.2.1 has just been released!
You can download it here.
If you want to be hip like all us birders, you can also fire up your 0.2 version of Songbird and let it auto-magically update.
I’d also recommend spinach salad as a possible cure for your turkey overdose. You can even put cranberry sauce on it if you just can’t go without it.

SubscribeHi I’m the Songbird ebuild maintainer of VLOS gentoo based distribution and I found that you named wrong the Songbird excutable file.
in x86_64 is named Songbird.backup then i686 is named Songbird,. other thing is file name:
i686 = Songbird_0_2_1_linux-x86_64.tar.gz
x86_64 = Songbird_0_2_1_linux_i686.tar.gz
Hello,
The auto-update on my 0.2 version doesn’t seem to find the new update.

Same for me, it says no updates available (Mac OS X 10.4.8 Intel, build 20061115175212)
Just a side note … cranberry sauce tastes awful with pumpkin pies. You won’t want to try it. On the other hand, sliced apples with apple sauce tastes decent.
Yeaah!!! It’s plays my ogg/theora vids now correctly.

Hey I would like to try the 2.1 release, I have an up-to-date bleeding edge songbird, but i do like having a stable version around should the unstable not compile, but everytime i try to download the 2.1 release i get 404′d. This is using X86 linux.
a. Auto-update says no new version
b. Getting a 404 when I try to download from here.
Using Ubuntu Linux 6.10.
The installer name wasn’t wrong, but the i686 link was broken.
Auto updates don’t work from nightlies, they only work from the release versions. If you have 0.2 it should update to 0.2.1. If you have a nightly, it won’t update to 0.2.1.
For mac intel, the build id of the 0.2 is 20061018184226.
Eh…i didnt even get to have turkey for Thanksgiving, i was sick and in the hospital…you lucky Songbird people, you…
I didn’t actually get turkey on Thanksgiving, but it was one week before Thanksgiving.
The update worked for me running the 0.2.0 Developer version (not nightly) on Win XP.
Great stuff, thanks to all the developers! (And in my neck of the woods - Canada - we celebrated Thanksgiving a month ago!)

I can’t seem to find release notes either in the distribution or from the “release notes” link on http://www.songbirdnest.com/development.
Unfortunately I’ve forgotten what I was looking for, but maybe I’ll remember if I get to read them.
thank you .
