    Hello,
    i just see your screenshot about your application and i’m wondering if it turns with xulrunner ?
    how to have a fullscreen mode with it ?

    ahh well, this tells me that songbird won’t work on my system.
    javascript is not allowed to run on my computers…
    neither is java or flash.
    I don’t have to worry about activex since I use linux only.

    I don’t want to scare you too much, but all that you can prevent is javascript running on your browser. songbird is a product built around Gecko using XUL, XPCOM, etc just like Mozilla Seamonkey and Firefox and Thunderbird.
    Of course you can choose to not install songbird. Just don’t think you have a way to prevent javascript from running on a different interpreter on your computer.

    Uh, yah… if you run Firefox, you run javascript.
